This was an assigned task given by the 10kdesigners folks as an assignment to design a landing page for an upcoming event in the niche assigned to us (for me, it was fitness), for a pre-existing or a made-up brand. And since my niche was fitness, I explored many fitness-related companies and decided to design it for the Ultrahuman.
For an assignment as part of the 10kdesigners cohort, our team was tasked with preparing a research report on an Internet community and identifying products that can be designed for the users of the community within 9 days.
Design a product that allows gym trainers to create a workout plan for their clients.
Welcome to my UI/UX case study. I will share my process and explain the decisions I took designing a referral for Mindhouse.
CYCLOP is an online private Facebook community for cyclists to buy and sell used cycles and gear among each other. This is also a platform for cycling talk, seeking and giving advice. Since the community started in 2012, they’ve also developed an eCommerce store – cyclop.in and offer bicycle shipping service as well on the website.
This is a project you’re working on for a fairly new startup in the market. They’re a media and Edtech platform in niche X. The closest analogy would be that they’re ‘MasterClass for X’.
The problem statement was to design a referral system for Mindhouse users. The referral system had to be developed for the users at various points while using the app in order to increase engagement. This project was part of an industry tie-up between 10kdesigners and Mindhouse.
In the case study, I take you through my process of designing an app called Boxxed, which is a connected at-home boxing setup. The user gets a complete feel of the app when it is used with it's counterparts, a stand alone punching bag and a real-time digital punch tracker.
